This is t he time for all of us including unions to negotiate down those hourly rates to become competitive with that of Toyota etc. That is one of the several CHANGES that Obama should seek.

Let us not forget that Mr. Demming's (A US citizen) OE methods were first embraced in Japan because the US manufacturers refused to adopt them here first.

Hence, I maintain, it is cleanup time; CEO's and unions alike. I hope every American taxpayer demands that before th auto industry is bailed out, they need to change their ways.
