Fine, but the profits from such ventures should accrue back to the US taxpayers and not just the universities and corporations getting said grants. Also, there needs to be a massive restructuring of health care, already 16% of the economy and after this recession probably much more.

Nationalized health CARE, not health insurance going to private insurance companies and health care providers has to be in the mix.
