I am more concerned about Metlife (MET) my old employer.

The stock has dropped from 75 to around 20.

The life insurance industry is one of the biggest holders of corporate bonds which have taken a big hit this year. They are aso losing big time on variable annuities.

Re: the markets the break to new lows should lead to a decent bottom in a matter of days IMHO. But that bottom could still be considerably below current levels.
