Ill start off with a couple of opportunities that immediately come to mind: 1) MVCO- closing expected in late December at $11.25 with the stock currently selling at $9.96. All indications from the filings and earnings call transcripts are that the deal is on and that most folks actually feel the deal price underprices the company. This looks like an attractive opportunity for a greater than 10% return in just over a month. 2)CHRK- This deal will be closing on the 21st (shareholder approval, financing all set) and you can get a quick 4% with a buy at 3.08 with the deal closing at 3.20.
