If he was okay with pardoning Marc Rich and a bunch of unrepetent Puerto Rican terrorists, he'll be okay with pardoning Tony Rezko.

I agree -- but it is bigger than that.

Here, you have a guy who is supposed to be the ultimate decision-maker on legal issues for the country. He decides everything. Who gets prosecuted, who doesn't. All manner of civil issues like mergers & acquisitions, etc. A really important guy.

And Obama appoints a man who supported the pardon of the most notorious individual ever to receive one. Totally inexplicable. Why in hell this guy was given a pardon, nobody knows. He's done nothing to justify it, even renouncing his F*CKING CITIZENSHIP. Never admitted to the crime. Nothing.

And this isn't the only case. There are other pardon recommendations that, while less notorious, were just as inappropriate.

This is an incompetent appointment and the Republicans will be totally unable to stop it. This is the danger in electing a neophyte.
