Hi Tom, I am back home and will look everything over. Right now I am long both Microsoft and Adobe. Microsoft will be bringing out Windows 98 and as far as I can tell this should be bigger than Windows 95. I have not thoroughly thought this through, but why won't the transition to the pentium II be as big as the transition from the X86 to the pentium. A lot of companies right now are transitioning to NT on the desk top, which is more revenues to Microsoft than Windows. As far as hedging I shorted SPY during the recent down turn, but that was to hedge the whole portfolio.

On my trip I had dinner with some University administrators and they are talking huge budgets for capital equipment in computers. PSU is wiring all the campuses and plans on buying laptops for all students in the future. There are 23 campuses and planning on spending over 14 million dollars each year. Does not sound like there is a recession for Intel or Microsoft in the near future.:-)
