"...people want to run only one operating system..." Okay. Which one? The ubiquitous, pervasive, problematic Win 3.x? Or the resource-hungry, more-hype-than-sales Win NT? Perhaps Win 95 (no; businesses avoid Win95 like the plague--or they should!). Win 3.x and Win 95 make *terrible* file servers. Or maybe OS/2 Warp? Great OS (I use it myself) but it's not everyone's cup of tea. Hey! Let's turn the Macintoshes in the desktop publishing department into file servers! NetWare on the server and (whatever) on the clients work because NetWare supports more diverse clients than any other NOS.
