Boot Pickens said a few days ago he expects oil to hit $100 a barrel in 12 months. Fadel Gheit, oil analyst for Oppenheimer I believe, said around Nov. 2007 he expected oil to drop to $50 a barrel in 6 months. He was right, just six months early. I remember no one on this board took him seriously.
