You read it right. Middle finger to bvf. And or sure, if bvf pushes hard and forces a liquidation, their ransom payment is in place. This was a very slimy and unethical move esp in light of just laying off 65% of the company.

I think what to look for would be if bvf puts this to a shareholder vote on the next proxy, given they control 25%, they're bound to win. I don't think it will be very hard to get another 25% to vote with them. I think crxx days are numbered.
