Vanni that was the "Internet Crazies" article. Which they used as a distractor. (They didn't call it that, we did.) Anything to avoid feeding the press something substantial.

They did this to point out how nicely Mike handles his e-mail (including the mean-bean nasty mail.) Every quote in it was handpicked by Corel PR to make the points they wanted to make.

Not worth it to me to go looking for the URL's

A second article the "Armchair CEOs" article (again, what I call it) presented a more balanced picture of us internet crazies. This Bean did strongly influence. (My opinion, but I still hold it.)

At the time I offered Bean my assistance in compiling a few of the many outstanding posts from the thread so that he would have plenty of fodder available for feeding the press ponies. But he did not take me up on the offer. (Probably he feared that my own humble yet more enlightened contributions would steal the spotlight. Or worse yet - YOURS. <haha>)(Only kidding <ggg> Beanster, should you be monitoring the happenings in this remote outpost) I was quite relieved because it would have taken horrible amount of my time that weekend.

Anyway I was paying a lot of attention to all of this at the time and hope I remember it all correctly.

Once again, the first article was company inspired to defuse our efforts and paint themselves in the best possible light, then Bean countered and provoked a better second one.
