You'll no doubt be surprised to hear that I don't think it does cut through that resistance zone. I wouldn't preclude a second try at that zone later today, though I wouldn't bet money on it, either. Next week should see that zone challenged again, I think, but it depends on where we are in this down move (is this still part of the iii down or are we in the iv?). Having spent much of yesterday without protective GE puts, I should note that I grabbed some Decembers today. I hope GE's decline is done, but it could easily follow C into single digits, I fear, no matter what the market is doing.
