Be Wary of New Buy Signals

At this point in the markets, where it doesn't look like the markets could ever go up again, you can get into serious troubledepending on these formulas for when to buy or sell. The markets have been going down for so long it seems normal that they will continue that way indefinitely. That's exactly when the markets will decide to reverse course. I guess what I am saying is keep your options open. I was surprised at the level of buying with MDR on Friday. Sure a lot of it was short covering but at least some of it was value buying. I want to watch to see if there is any follow through.

BTW I never realized how many ETFs existed for shorting. I wish the hell I had been relying on the ETFs for shorting a lot sooner. Could have made a ton of money.

In any case, here's some anecdotal info that things may be loosening up in the economy:
