It seems to me after this historic market drop this year, the selling pressure will exist through year end on tax loss selling. I always thought tax loss selling was designed to offset capital gains. Who, may I ask, has any of those this year? The last 9 years of gains have been wiped out. Why would anyone sell at a loss now for tax purposes? What am I missing??? best... LIG
