All valid points. Will Bill and Milinda Gates be the only high profile example of very wealthy parents sending their kids to a public school? He and his wife led by example and have donated their time, wealth and energy to improve public schools around Seattle. Do they send their kids to public school? If so, be aware they live in Clyde Hill, which along with Medina is one of the tonier areas on the Eastside. Clyde Hill Elementary is part of the Bellevue School District. It's not exactly White Center or Rainier Valley by any means.
