She knows she's not allowed to steal food off the counter, but also knows that she can get away with it if we aren't in the room Our dog does that too. If anybody knows how to teach a dog to come from a distance when called, let me know. I can't tell if she's ignoring me or just can't hear me. I think it may be a combination of both.
