My father has had personal dealings with GM board members. He has had nothing nice to say about them, and some of the stories are beyond belief. The whole board of GM live in a different world than the rest of us, a world of privilege (and arrogance) and everyone telling them how smart they are. They really do. Rest assured they see nothing wrong with taking a private jet to go ask for money from the taxpayers, and are probably angry that anyone dares question their decisions. I don't know about the boards of Chrysler or Ford.
