longnshort, do you even realize that the more you defend Palin the dumber you look? No one with any brains thinks Palin was a good pick, especially, the intelligent women I work with. All without exception, regardless of party affiliation, think she was a bad pick and an embarrassment to women everywhere.

You think that somehow you are getting points for picking a woman, but the reality is that intelligent women see it as an insult. They regard Palin as nothing more than a beauty queen pick by condescending males.

If the Republicans were serious about pushing for a competent, intelligent woman VP candidate, they would have picked Condi Rice or Carly Fiorina, or any number of other picks. Palin was a stupid pick that just pissed off most intelligent women.
