Also brought up on the show was Mini Cooper, which is going to be selling a hybrid version of the Mini that gets 100 mpg in 10 months. If Mini Cooper can do this, why can't Detroit?

Then, there are about 7 companies that are converting Prius's to plug-in, that get anywhere from 100-150 mpg. Why not give them some money?


Of course, but this isn't GM's fault.....its the unions. GM's mgmt is so upset with the unions they don't have time to focus on the car business. Poor guys......their whole work day is filled with union issues. Inode is right.......the unions keep GM from getting ahead. He's so clever.
