Gold Beach in the context of Q's post you would be a seller, not a buyer of calls against the position. Before doing anything, study options and the various strategies that can be employed. Be aware that it can be very complex with nuances everywhere and can require considerable knowledge of this like market volatility, option volatility (VIX, VXN), etc.
