a financial system in a state of collapse, declining housing prices, energy going through the roof...all because liberals undermined the economy by talking it down..keep that substance coming there butch... You're twisting my words and you know it (this seems to be a habit with you). I never said "all because". While it is true that in '92 Clinton managed to turn a moderately weak economy into something much more, I have clearly stated that the mortgage crisis was a result of liberals in Congress forcing lenders to advance money to people who couldn't pay it back. The talking it down was just an effort to further suppress the economy. The liberals in Congress created the trainwreck. The Obama campaign, in their glee to have an issue they could win on, simply perpetuated it. Now, it is Obama's problem. He gets his shot at fixing the problems he had a significant hand in creating (remember, he was highly compensated by the organzations that caused the problem). But THAT kind of compensation doesn't seem to bother you people.
