Hi guys - Spoke at length with Greg Lampf. My main reservation - what is going to be the trigger that makes MeadJohnson decide to give up 3% (of their TOPLINE for goodness sakes) to our little company. Mr. Lampf suggested public outcry. I have heard better business plans. Obviously, the two new hires in the marketing dept show they are focused on selling the stuff - I just don't see how you create a grass roots demand for a product without the actual product on the market. They need to establish a beach head in the preemie market to get word of mouth going. My second concern - say tomorrow MJ says "let's go" - what kind of numbers does this mean for MATK? Enough for tonight. OH - the cash is 25mil, burn rate at 1.3mil/month. Coincidently that gives them 18 months - same time as a baby would use their formula. They may be able to approach the deep pockets for more - but it seems that if this doesn't fly in the next 6 months - it is never going to go. td
