doug, i have little respect for the sec. i think they are a bunch of bureaucratic dolts. and i'm being very, very nice. in fact, i'm lying. i think they are incompetent weasels that let scams go unfettered so that the irs can fully collect their taxes on the gains and annuitize losses - a big boon for the treasury. i don't give the statement about a halt much substance as i doubt the sec will tell investors or potential investors that they are going to halt a stock prior to doing so. if they did then they could run out and trade on the information or pass it on to someone who could. perhaps he could post the name and number of the sec rep that said such a thing and it could be verified. yes, i'm consistent. the good and the bad ought to be verifiable. :-)
