Comments on what you are seeing in your area people? I hang around the greater Seattle area. Couple weeks ago the Snohomish Indians opened a BIG new casino a few miles out of town. The place was jammed, as are the malls. OTH, when driving around the Eastside (Bellelvue/Redmond), I see dozens of people waving signs along the roads, advertising furniture stores, store closures, and the like. They presumably aren't out-of-work physicians or lawyers, but their numbers have increased exponentially in just the past few months. Me, I'm drawing up a "NEED HELP" sign for display along the freeway exits.
