Actually, Bosnian and Albanian Moslems are probably the most pro-American people in Europe. iht.com Muslims elsewhere? No. Serbia was engaging in ethnically cleansing away most of the population of Kosovo at the time. Destablizing all neighboring countries, inspiring them all to do the same to their minority populations. Getting rid of Milosevic stopped the problem before it spiraled into another big war. Arguably, we've pushed Russia needlessly in other ways but suppressing the violence in the Balkans wasn't a mistake imo.
