The article begged the question of how much the pH actually changed. Ten times more change than what?

At least they acknowledge that the measurements were in a coastal area where many other things could influence the measurements, from river effluent to passing ships dumping garbage and sewage.

Otherwise, it sounded to me about as important as me saying, "I think this year isn't as cold at my house as last year."
