Someone asked me today to put similar charts together showing the grand total of both allocated and unallocated money from all the various programs, and I just couldn't bring myself to do it even though I have all the data. It would add very little if anything.

edit/add:
And as long as I'm in bad news mode, here's a picture of total state and federal expenditures as a percent of GDP. Note that the source data is quite suspect and understated, especially the federal portion, since it does not include off official budget items.
Actual total federal expenditures alone, per the total debt, is around 60% of total GDP.
