Yeah, except I'd have to pay them anyway. You see, that's the way it works. At GM, employees check in but they never check out.

But if I were running it I would be doing everything I could to get rid of the unions. It is the single biggest problem GM faces and ultimately will lead to bankruptcy if the unions are busted.

Honestly, I think Chapter 11 is going to be the only way out for GM at this point so the court can throw the unions out on their asses. Any court in the land looking at GM will immediately understand the unions are the problem, I think.
