No, Peter... it seems that you are the only one making that ridiculous claim (about Obama saying that he would "invade" an "ally").

And the fact that you can post no quote for it (would should be ridiculously EASY to find on Google if it had ever been said...) simply illustrates the fact that you "misremembered" it.

However... I assume that you have already noticed that President Bush has adopted the same policy that Obama first enunciated (when Obama said that "if we have Osama bin Laden, or one of his top lieutenants in our sights, and Pakistan was either unable, or unwilling, to act against him... that the US would then act on our own to take him out.")

And that Bush has (since just this summer, when he signed a Presidential authorization for that) had the US military strike at terrorist targets inside the territory of Pakistan MORE THAN A DOZEN TIMES ALREADY!

(And also that the Intelligence 'chatter' around Washington is that this new policy has been very EFFECTIVE thus far, al Qaeda and Taliban are feeling the pressure and finding it more difficult to operate... have in some case been forced to pull back from the border, etc., and that SUPPOSEDLY the Us has a 'wink, wink, nudge, nudge' kind of silent agreement with the new government in Pakistan --- where the US is free to strike at any and all 'foreign fighters', mostly al Qaeda, in Pakistan... while the Pak. military is reserving the mostly fellow Pustun Taliban for themselves....)
