I think you're a little confused Bill. Donald Rumsfeld was Sec Def when George Bush stupidly and mistakenly stumbled into invading Iraq. Gates is the Sec Def who will get us out, ending one of the greatest blunders in our history. The fact that Gates is willing and eager to serve soon to be President Obama, to implement Obama's policy of leaving Iraq, shows, i think, just what a great leader Obama is going to be. He's inspiring pretty much everybody, except, of course, you few dead enders still posting last years talking points here on SI. SD
