(And... he was NOT "point man on the Marc Rich pardon". That is LAUGHABLE. He was passingly asked on one of the last days of the administration if he 'had any objection' to the proposed pardon and - to his deep regret he now claims - answered without giving it much thought, and no more than a small dollop of research time, that he didn't have a specific objection.... Not the same as being a "point person", LOL! However... Scooter Libby could definitely be classed as a V.I.P. 'point person' for the Rich pardon request --- he was Marc Rich's LAWYER who pressed the request forward. <g>)
