Just got back from the Cassell to see Davila ( DAV i LA ) lead the Hokies over Elon 76 to 67. Victor had 16 points, his best effort of the year. I believe I witnessed a true freshman come of age. He has great touch around the basket, good moves, but needs to work on his rebounding and defense.

To tell you the truth I was talking to Marcus Sailes the other day, of the 2005 bball team. He mentioned that there were high hopes for Davila, even to the point of him playing two years and going to the next level. I truthfully do not ever see that happening, he simply is not that good even as a freshman, but I do see him contributing for 4 years, possibly making freshman of the year in the ACC, but the next level, I just do not see it. Let him prove me wrong however.
