Why does this stock refuse to go up. I watched it on instinet all day and it was a solid 12 5/8 or 12 11/16 bid. At 12:55 pm pacific Smith Barney shows up on the offer and drives the stock down and it closes 12 5/8. I assume it was Smith Barney because they show up on the offer every afternoon so it gets printed on the bid. Granted, around 14,000 shares printed a half, but why does it have to get smashed in the last five minutes. Manipulation and marking is the only rational explanation. Isn't it funny how Smith Barney recomends the stock and they are the ones to sell it. I'm starting to get really frustated because, from a laymans point of view, this stock seems so cheap.
