just in in-tray I quizzed an account mgr today after I noticed there was no one in line at the Premier banking Central Branch lobby - 70% of Premier customers at main branch are from outside HK, many from China… n They have not been coming to HK as frequently, though o’all they have not touched their accts - A guesstimate was that about ½ accts are shares and other 50% cash - The 1/2 shares would then be down about 50% p.s. the premier a/c require usd 125k equivalent on deposit, and the comfortable banking section had expanded by about 150% over the past 3-5 years by square footage all around town, in aggregate, i guess
