Happy Thanksgiving - Until shorts perhaps opens a board on his positive pink ANVH, I thought I'd park this post here to start DD. It will be interesting to see how the stock does given that it is being touted as producing a quarterly dividend but starting next year at the end of March, a long period, during which much could happen.
From the LBWR board as there is no current ANVH board to my knowledge ==============================================
I was interested to see that you posted this on post 8041 on November 19, 2008 at IHub re ANVH, approximately 45 minutes after the open. It opened at .0145 and went as high as .018 and closed at .014. Subsequent to your post, it went as low as .0075 a loss of almost half. Not that it has any association with your post, but you so often post how stocks go down after positive posts.
Here is part of your post and I am very interested given your very positive expressions:
I know many know I have not been supportive of this company and pointed out the many red flags. This new major material event of paying a quarterly CASH dividend has made me take a second opinion now! I have never seen a pink sheet company do this before and it falls into line with How I invest.
Buy companies that pay and increase dividends, dollar cost average and compound the dividends for more growth. This dividend at the current price is an outstanding dividend if they follow through on the next four quarters and pay it.
This means I no longer think this stock will fall to the triple zero's or sub penny levels short of any major dilution or rescinding the dividend. As long as they pay the dividend I see this being the bottom as the dividend at .015 is a 25% divy. I see this stock now worth .02-4 cents and the downside risk much smaller now.
I am not recomending that people buy the stock but this certainly changes the long term out look ! I am very impressed to see the company issue a CASH dividend.. It's a step in the right direction and win win for the share holders that buy at these prices currently.
IF they follow through on this the company will actually be working for the share holders unlike 99.99999% of pink sheet companies that rape the share holders!
I haven't done a lot of DD on it yet and would welcome your contributions.
I see there was a 1/1000 reverse split in May 2008 according to pink sheets. Is that correct?
The dividend pay date is not until the end of March of next year. Is that correct? Why did they provide such a lead time? Was it to sell shares in anticipation?
I note also that pink sheets lists 1/2 billion shares authorized and that the claimed o/s and float is much less.
There is a "blank check" preferred issue of about 1.5 million shares o/s. Do you know if there is a conversion feature?
In their interim financial report filed on November 13, 2008, (information provided pursuant to Rule 15c2-11), they stated, "The Company has not declared dividends and does not intend to declare dividends on the common stock in the foreseeable future." Do you find that interesting, given the date timing, 5 days before your post?
I don't believe there is a board here on SI for ANVH. Perhaps you should start one. Although I haven't been focusing on micros given the opportunities for trading the volatility in the market, I've added this to my watch list and would welcome your posting on SI given you are so positive with respect to this stock. I'd urge others to watch and comment.
Good luck with your investment and happy trading. :-) |
