Yeah... would you buy a car, a long-term investment requiring a ton of ongoing maintenance, from a company that might not be around in two years? 80% of Americans say they wouldn't. I don't think I would... every decision is risk/reward. On the same thread, a lot of people say that because gas is cheap now, people will stop thinking about mileage when they buy a car. I think a lot of people will realize there is long term risk to buying a gas guzzler. If you plan to keep it for 3-5 years, you don't know what gas will cost in 1 year, much less 3 years.
