It is a little presumptuous for YOU to tell ME anything about financial statements. However, if one simply adds back the per-vehicle charges for union-related costs versus TM's non-union production (all well-publicized by professional analysts who have discussed these matters with management) you can quickly determine that GM's losses would be eradicated were it not for these additional costs. All of which, of course, are part of the "margin" calculation.

This shit is way over your head. Don't waste your time.

The pension problems are huge, and aren't even considered in my remarks. Add that in and the picture is even worse.

Unions are THE problem. Without that problem GM's cash position would be just fine.
