After decades of failure the war on drugs now threatens our national security. This war is now at our doorstep. "The resulting damage is undermining Mexican civil society as the rich, powerful cartels compete for control of smuggling routes into the United States, which is consuming all the cocaine, methamphetamine and MARIJUANA the cartels can deliver." Legalize the drugs and the cartels suddenly would have product that no one would be interested in buying.
