That's one frightening opinion/article. I often predicted that it would take a market collapse to prove many of our opinions correct in this area and to get some changes. Unfortunately, it's happening, although "Bob" seems to think nothing will change.

I think that they will have to do something because there is a danger that an entire generation will avoid the markets going forward. Cyincally, who will be the "suckers" if those who control the market have only themselves to screw?

They need us, if only to steal our money. I've spoken to a lot of former investors who now trade FX and currencies instead of stocks. Maybe that will be the next boom and bust theft of retail investors' money?
