I'd say that since the Intel P2-233 sells for over $500 (plus additional Slot I/heatfan costs of over $100) that makes a $350 K6-233 quite a bargain.

Perhaps you don't understand English. "Squarely between" P55C and Pentium II means "SQUARELY ABOVE" P55C, which is also more expensive.
