And I could actually say that you are being insensitive to young women and girls who suffer greatly if they get pregnant by mistake. I remember what happened. The back alleys, dangerous efforts at abortion with coat hangers and trips to Mexico and dirty mid wives. I have thought about this my whole life. I remember what it was like when abortion was illegal and do not want to go back to those days. Like I said we have a difference of opinion. We are in a state of rapid cultural evolution. And if we are going to survive as a species we had better start thinking in a much more sophisticated manner. Among my educated friends very few want to go back to making abortion illegal and most women in the country are pro choice. The pro life lobby is mostly the very religous. And they often have other ideas I do not like. Like the pope not allowing condoms even to protect from aids in Africa, being family panning and calling gays behaviro evil. These would all be silly ideas if they were not so venel. In much of the wolrd the subjagation of women by cultural decree. All major religions are sexist and men control 99% of the wealth in the world. These are the primitive ideas modern civilization has to replace quickly if we are to survive.
