now that platinum is again priced almost at gold level, i called all around for any and all pieces of platinum bullion (eagles, maples, koalas), and (i) none is available, (ii) do not bother to order, as (iii) none is expected, at (iv) any price reasonably (5%) close to spot. which makes me more than ever resolved to hold on to my hoard built up from 1984 to 2005 forever. prices everywhere, but none available. am asking canadian partner who will visit hk in three weeks, to call all over in vancouver and hunt up any and all pt. let's see if he is even successful for 1 oz.
