The house odds on stocks are much higher than in blackjack or craps. Commissions, friction, bag men and inside information make stocks a very tough game to beat over the long haul. Casinos cheat, but there is more cheating on stock trades and deals. However, inflation works in your favor on stocks and it does not in a casino.

There are no games that are honest all the time, in a casino, on Wall Street or in foreign markets. The best bet is to do enough weird stuff to offset the odds and the cheating.
