hello pezz, today's report:
(i) i started today by listening to my collection of high energy music while chugging the first bottle of that wonderful american invention, starbucks ice frappucino
(ii) as i tuned into anggun's 'i will be alright' youtube.com i thought of the good work we did over the years on this thread, a social give-back service, that should have, ought to, and probably did save many souls, just in the nicking scratch of time, before the macro reaper showed up at the party that turned grim, and so
(iii) i was pleased that the next song up was 'savior' youtube.com
(iv) i gyrated in place, happy, and worked on various documents for various people's year-ends and my wife had the nerve to ask me, 'what bad things are you doing'?
(v) the nerve!
anyway, time to take the coconut to bicycling, and eventually seashore lunch with friends.
cheers, tj
p.s. just in in-tray, some london banker comparing and contrasting capitalist china and freedom hong kong, on the one hand, to communist usa and lap dog uk londonbanker.blogspot.com ... it starts off deliciously so "“When a woman thinks that her house is on fire, her instinct is at once to rush to the thing which she values most. It is a perfectly overpowering impulse, and I have more than once taken advantage of it. . . . A married woman grabs at her baby; an unmarried one reaches for her jewel-box.”
-- Sherlock Holmes from A Scandal in Bohemia, by Arthur Conan Doyle"
which also, of course, allow us to easily recall the happenings that went on in post-katrina new orleans and the events post-any disaster china youtube.com
which then also reminds me of this funny youtube.com competition between randomly selected marines (by counterparty) for a show and tell, notice the clown who dared not jump :0)
the score was people's liberation army making 2 min 50 secs fastest time vs invaders of mesopotamia at 3 min 50 secs
ok, enough ragging today
