Well Zogby polling professionals conducted the survey and selected the sample group on this one; Your post implies they did not. So wrong on your part there. What he did say was that he wanted to have his hand on the QUESTIONS. So either you can't read,or you are deliberatley trying to mislead others.

The point of the poll measures what the media covered. The recency effect doesn't answer what the media was covering. If you look at recent v. "old news" it doesnt hold water either:

- NBC saw fit to send reporters to Viet Nam to talk to the head of the Hanoi Hilton only to come away with, and actually publish, the General's statements that he did not torture McCain. If that is important to cover, then so is covering Obamas ties with Ayers or how he won his first election.

- Obama claiming to have campaigned in 57 States is recent.

- who controls congress is recent.

So though off the point, you are wrong there too.

What Zogby believes, is not particularly relevant either.

Ziegler is on record as saying he would commission a poll and if the Republicans did not score higher, he would pay, but if they did then a Liberal would have to pay. He has had no takers. So you are wrong again on that count. That this poll never gets done would not surprise me. To risky to reveal that the republicans are actually more informed than your typical democrat.

One can debate the value of some questions, but not the question on who controls congress. I know you dont like it but the simple fact remains that 57.4% of Obama voters could not identify the party who controled congress . It reveals a stunning level of ignorance on the part of the typical Obama voter.

"We stand by the results our survey work on behalf of John Ziegler, as we stand by all of our work. John Zogby
