GM is out of control. You would think that someone at Ford, still controlled by the Family, would have the sense to cut back the Executives to packages similar to what the Japanese companies pay their top people. THEN, go to UAW and say, "renegotiate, or you will be forced out in our voluntary bankruptcy."

The DC climate is such that the National Pols would have to go along with them.
