i will never purchase another GM product again...

and that is saying something since the last GM product i bot was back in the 70's

GM currently makes some very nice cars. Cadillac's CTS is a world class vehicle. Chevy's economical Cobalt is a well made little car and the new Malibu is every bit as good as a Camry or Accord, and nothing can touch the performance of a Corvette for anywhere near the price. Pontiac's Holden based G8 sedan is a true bargain. I could list other examples.

Detroit certainly has problems, but the cars they make today are orders of magnitude better than the throw away junk of several decades ago. That old saw about "foreign cars good, domestic cars bad" doesn't hold water any more.

I have a written order in on a new Camaro which will hopefully be built in February. If GM manages to hold off bankruptcy until then, I'll be quite happy.. :)
