You'd think that after a couple of centuries, people living in the hurricane zone would have started designing their systems to cope with hurricanes. Or even to use them to good effect; high energy wind turbines for example.

Meanwhile, back on Sol, the place is going out! There are big dark patches at the poles, as normal, but still NO sun spots and big dark patches spreading: sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov
