Your first line really made me smile...so true. And yeah, it's hard to get all crazed about the stock market and general economy when you're already living a relatively stripped-down life. Not good that you're going without health insurance though. 'Cause we ain't getting any younger. :-) Seriously, this is where I hope the Obama administration can really pull things together. It's ridiculous that this country spends so much on health care and yet so many millions aren't covered by insurance. Our Thanksgiving was pretty quiet. We spent it at my older daughter's house (she's 26. How did that happen!) with her fiance's family. Best turkey ever! She's a trained chef-- a gift to us all.
