I lost my biggest client today to what amounts to a margin call from his bank on a condo project He went down to the tune of almost 20 mil. I leaned back in my chair knowing that a 19 year client, his business and family were gone in a day. He's going to file for bankruptcy. This isn't about what it does to my business - its about watching a client whose become a valued friend go down the tubes - I couldn't feel worse. As my mind raced I thought of a song that I recall listening to in the early 80's - those were some dark times.
