Welcome to the thread. I find your question interesting and thought-provoking. Contrast your point of view with my previous post questioning whether it is time to buy back into the Far East Ex-Japan fund.

I realize that the Asian markets are dropping like an elevator with a cut cable. I also understand that there is some kind of a "currency crisis" occuring in new Asia. Beyond that, however, I really don't know what is going on in Asia. Do you have details suggesting that a bank failure is imminent? Can you refer me to more information on the subject?
